“Push” Goofs List
- Continuity: After the Sniffers arrive Nick looks in the drawer, sees his gun and covers it with a cloth. Later when he goes to the drawer and gets the gun it is uncovered.
- Continuity: During the final scene when the mover Victor breaks open the locker to retrieve the case, when the camera pans out to a wider view the locker is clearly no longer broken but is closed and in perfect condition.
- Continuity: When Kira is on the bed with Nick in the hotel, she has her head facing up. She then turns her head to the side before Cassie enters the room. When the camera cuts back to Kira, her head is back in the same position.
- Audio/visual unsynchronized: When the Pop girl ambushes Cassie, we hear the sound of a hammer being cocked. However, her pistol does not have an external hammer and couldn’t make that sound. Also, her fingers clearly don’t move when we hear the sound.
- Revealing mistakes: The scene where the Pop Girl is threatening Cassie in the store with the Tiger symbols, you can obviously see the opening to put water inside the gun Pop girl was holding (which means the prop used was a water gun).
- Continuity: In the scene at the beginning of the film when Kira is injected with the serum, the doctors prepare and take a tray with four syringes to her bedside, having used one to inject Kira there should be three left, but when Kira re-animates and in making her escape grabs a syringe off the tray, there are only two.
- Revealing mistakes: When Nick is confronting Carver for the first time, he pulls the two guns out of his pants and lets them be controlled by his ‘abilities’. However, in the mirrors above him, you cannot see the guns’ reflection.
- Continuity: In Hook’s introductory scene, he shows a girl his card-shifting trick. She requests ‘ace of spades’, but she mouths something different from her voice. In the next scene, it’s applied that he makes an ace of spades appear, however, a continuity error occurs that the card in his hand is actually a ten of spades.
- Revealing mistakes: In the beginning of the restaurant scene, Nick’s two guns were obvious CGI as he pushes them to the mirror ceiling, as you can his reflection but not the guns.
- Revealing mistakes: During the gun fight between Victor and Nick, just as Nick is about to get shot, the gun clicks as if its empty. It’s not out though, because the slide would’ve been back.
- Continuity: After being freed from the trunk of a car during the shoot-out at the construction site, Nick picks up two guns. He is seen picking them up, holding them in the elevator, and still holding two when he presses against the wall, but as soon as he fires his first shot, he is only holding one gun with both hands.
- Continuity: (At 66:00) When they look at the building that is represented as a question mark on the drawing, there a helicopter to the left, in the next scene is the helicopter not to be seen again.
- Plot holes: Spoiler: During the last scene of the movie, they show a wide shot of all the ‘bad guys’, to note, the screamer brothers and their father. In these scenes they forget to implement the second screamer brother into any fight scene – one dies when the two pushers are fighting each other. But the second screamer isn’t shown to fight or die, so what happened to the other brother?
