• Factual errors: When the beehive attacks, the voices are male. A hive is protected by workers bees, who are all female.
• Factual errors: When Dr Dolittle is visiting Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin’s TV set in Australia, the animal is presented as an alligator (which it is) but there are only crocodiles in Australia. To add insult to injury, the alligator has an Australian accent.
• Continuity: Dr. Dolittle’s tongue changes color in opening scene with stray dogs.
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Dr. Doo call an Opossum a rodent where of course they are not. They are marsupials.
• Errors in geography: Grizzly bears have been extinct in California since the 1920s.
