• Continuity: SPOILER: When the street preacher is “crucifying” Spider in the hospital, he picks up the same knife twice from the equipment table.
• Revealing mistakes: Most of the guns are actually paintball guns. Brand names of several paintball makers are clearly visible at several points in the movie and you can often see CO2 blasts when the guns are fired.
• Factual errors: The date on the screen in the New Darwin Inn reads “Thursday, 17 January 2021″. January 17, 2021 will be a Sunday.
• Plot holes: The subway tunnel seems abandoned: there’s trash lying around the track and nobody else in the station. The tunnel lights and station lights might be lit because the Loteks want to make sure they can escape that way, but why are the signals still working?
• Continuity: Johnny throws a gun away after it runs out of ammo. In the next shot, he can be seen still holding the gun.
• Continuity: In the final scene, Jane has a stream of blood from different places above her left eye. The trickle also changes length.
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Spider is explaining to Johnny the cause of NAS.

• Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Picard sings “heart” instead of “foot” in the second chorus of “A British Tar”, despite having the lyrics displayed in front of him on his computer. Considering the stress he’s under, he does an excellent job.
• Continuity: When Anij slows down time (the water falls very slowly, the bird’s wings flap slowly) she picks a flower and then blows the spores off of it. She’s slowed down time, but when she picks the flower the other flowers next to the one she picks move back and forth at full speed.
• Revealing mistakes: In the beginning, when Data is being chased into the village, the stone bridge shakes and flexes like a wooden prop as the children run across it.
• Crew or equipment visible: Shadow of equipment visible on the cave wall, just before Picard goes through the hole he has blasted in the wall.
• Continuity: When he discovers the holoship hidden in the lake, Data opens a dam and lowers the water level. But when he boards the raft with Picard and Anij, the pier is still at the correct height for the normal water level.
• Continuity: When blasting through the cave wall, a tree falls over at the side and Picard and Data both look at it. It is standing up again in the next scene.
• Revealing mistakes: Early in the film a woman is knocked backwards, the man standing behind her goes to catch her well before she starts falling.
• Revealing mistakes: When Picard shoots the Son’a guard on the holoship, a crash mat can be seen when he falls off the roof.
• Continuity: During the phaser fight in the holoship, A Son’a soldier is shot and rolls off the roof of the hut, and when Picard ends the simulation, the soldier is not lying on the floor stunned when we see the full holodeck revealed, unless he was a hologram too.
• Incorrectly regarded as goofs: During Data and Picard’s phaser fight inside the holoship, the disruptor shots from the Son’a weapon do not disrupt the holograms as we see the Son’a Commander do later in the movie to reveal that was fooled. In fact, they chip walls and splash water. However, the holoship was designed to be a ‘floating holodeck’ to transport unwilling colonists, so the simulation would likely be programmed to react in a realistic manner to weapons fire so that the deception isn’t accidentally discovered; likewise, the crew of the Enterprise may not have had time to reactivate the ‘reality mode’ when they changed the simulation.
• Continuity: When Picard, Data, and Anij are paddling out to the holoship, Data and Picard switch sides on the raft between shots.
• Continuity: When Data and Picard beam back up to the Enterprise after jumping into the Ba’ku lake, Data’s uniform is dry while Picard’s is still soaked.
• Revealing mistakes: When Picard is first meeting with the Baku, there are children playing a hacky-sack type game in the background. During two short shots, the children can be seen making kicking motions but there are no hacky-sacks to be seen.
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Picard meets the Ba’Ku for the first time, he introduces Counselor Troi as Dr. Crusher and Dr. Crusher as Counselor Troi. Both actresses nod to the wrong names as well.
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Ru’afo socks Dougherty in the face, he obviously misses, yet we hear a punch effect.
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): While singing “A British Tar”, Data, who supposedly has perfect recall, sings the wrong notes for part of the song.
• Continuity: When Picard is beamed on to the collector ship before facing Ru’afo, he is beamed from another Son’a ship, but he materializes with a Federation transporter effect, not a Son’a one.
• Crew or equipment visible: After Picard rescues Anij from the water, Data says, “In the event of an emergency, my body can be used as a flotation device.” Data then “rises” above the water as if he is inflating. The platform that raises Brent Spiner higher in the water is visible through the water underneath him.
• Crew or equipment visible: In the beginning of the movie, after Picard, Riker, Troi, and Crusher enter the turbolift, the turbolift doors close and the reflection of the camera can be seen in the shiny turbolift door label.
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Troi comments that she had never kissed Riker with a beard before. In actuality, Troi kissed bearded Riker in the episode “Star Trek: The Next Generation: Menage a Troi (#3.24)” (1990), as well as in several other episodes.
• Miscellaneous: In the scene where the crew meets Picard in the Captain’s Yacht, the captain tells Geordi and Riker to take the ship and transmit a message to the Federation. If you look at Geordi’s collar you see a gold and two black pips (rank insignia). He should have two gold and one black pip for his rank of Lt. Commander (one gold and two black pips does not belong to any rank in Star Trek).
• Continuity: After Picard and Data dive off the Holoship to rescue a drowning Anij, Data informs them that “in the event of a water landing, I have been designed to serve as a flotation device”. Although this is obviously a joke comparing Data to an airline seat, it is inconsistent with information originally provided in “Star Trek: The Next Generation: Descent: Part 2 (#7.1)” (1993). In that episode, Geordi tells Data about a time where they went sailing, and Data decided to go for a swim and ended up sinking to the ocean floor due to lack of buoyancy, and having to walk over a kilometer back to the shore.
• Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Data used a contraction in the scene where the cave collapses, saying “it’s safer over there.” Although the series established that Data can not use contractions, he had the emotion chip installed into his positronic net in Star Trek: Generations (1994) which would likely allow him to not only experience emotions, but to use contractions as well. Also worth mentioning that although Geordi tells Capt. Picard that he didn’t take his emotion chip with him, it is possible he reinstalled it during the course of the movie.

• Crew or equipment visible: Dressed in black, pushing a dummy out of the car that is speeding down the hill.
• Continuity: Sil is in the process of removing the swimwear from the “hot tub guy” when the good guys show up to get her. But after she notices they arrived for her, the swim short on the guy seems to have been pulled back up to the guy’s waist.
• Continuity: When the search crew is standing around the dead man in the bloody water of the hot tub, one shot shows the water clean and clear.
• Revealing mistakes: Sil has pierced ears.

• Revealing mistakes: SPOILER: When Danny Witwer is shot, a blood pack is visible under his shirt.
• Continuity: SPOILER: Lamar shoots Danny Witwer in the head and in the chest, where his blood pools and accumulates. But in subsequent shots of Lamar on the phone with Lara, with Danny’s body slumped over in the lower right of the frame, there is no blood on his shirt, and his head is intact.
• Plot holes: SPOILER: John Anderton clearly has an alibi for Danny’s murder. Lamar Burgess is seen cleaning John Anderton’s gun after killing Witwer. While he is doing this, he talks to Lara on the phone where she tells him that John has just arrived with the Precog. Since Danny’s murder wasn’t predicted or prevented by the Precogs, we’d be left to believe that normal forensic science and due process of the law would be applied, especially to the death of a deputy of the Attorney General.
• Continuity: The jacket that Agatha is holding, disappears and reappears on her shoulder during the car journey.
• Continuity: As Anderton approaches Crow, he has his gun drawn. Then we see him from a different angle and he draws his (already drawn, as far as we know) gun.
• Continuity: When Dr. Iris hands the “plant-waterer” to Anderton it is pointing one way (watering hole to Anderton’s left), when the camera angle changes it is it is pointing the other way.
• Revealing mistakes: When Anderton is being chased through the alleyway, the hole cut in his leather jacket for his safety harness is clearly visible when he is at the top of the fire-escape.
• Crew or equipment visible: After John’s chase in the Lexus, a crouching crewmember in a white shirt is reflected in the car door as it opens.
• Revealing mistakes: In the alley where the police are attempting to subdue Anderton, he takes a sick stick and pokes one of the policemen who vomits immediately, but the vomit is coming from “below” his mouth – the “vomit tube” is mis-positioned on the left side of the actor’s face.
• Crew or equipment visible: Safety diver visible in the upper right-hand corner of the screen when Anderton is in the pool holding his breath.
• Continuity: When Anderton tumbles into the yoga class after jumping from his car, the Asian yoga student in the green leotard is flat down on her chest. In the next shot, the same yoga student is up on her hands.
• Continuity: When Anderton is in the park looking for Howard Marks’ house, the merry-go-round behind him is not moving. A couple shots later, the merry-go-round is moving in the foreground.
• Continuity: When Anderton confronts and then shoots Leo Crow, Agatha is crawling off the bed and takes most of the pictures off the bed onto the floor with her. Later, when Witwer and the PreCrime team are studying the crime scene, the pictures are back on the bed. It is unlikely that either Anderton or Agatha would have stopped to put the pictures back on the bed before leaving, and no policeman worth his salt would have disturbed a crime scene and scooped up the pictures and put them on the bed.
• Continuity: When Anderton is in the greenhouse with the pre-crime’s creator, she says, “This just isn’t your week is it,” as she helps him sit down, and takes her hands off of him. In the next shot she has her hands in the original location as he says, “I am not a killer.”
• Continuity: When in Anderton’s house, Danny Witwer is sitting in front of Lara asking for her husband. In the first shot she’s sitting with both arms and legs in the same position. In the next shot, her left leg is crossed and his right arm is resting on the photo frame.
• Continuity: When Anderton is first viewing the images from the Marks murder, the technician behind him takes his folder and folds it behind his arms twice.
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Anderton remembers Solomon P. Eddie set his patients on fire, Eddie says “I put ‘em out!” and then “Some not as quickly as others…” but his mouth does not match the words.
• Continuity: When Howard Marks picks up his glasses from the bedside table, he is holding them upside down. In the next shot he puts them on, and he is holding them right-side up.
• Continuity: After Anderton has attacked Crow in the hotel room, the position of the broken glass in the mirror changes between shots.
• Continuity: When the robots are looking for Tom Cruise to scan his eye, he grabs a small cooler of ice and throws it into the bathtub to get in and hide. The next time the camera shows the tub, there is nearly 10 times as much ice in the tub.
• Continuity: When the Leo Crow murder is first envisioned by the PreCogs, Jad says that the “time of occurrence is 15:06 hours”, which is 3:06pm. After Anderton sees that it’s him in the prevision, he sets the alarm on his watch for 35 hours and 56 minutes. Counting backwards from 3:06pm this means that it is currently just after 3am when Anderton, Jad, Wally and the rest of PreCrime are at work. Also, when Anderton tries to escape on the MagLev and calls Lamar in his office, it is obviously in broad daylight and not 3am.
• Continuity: When Anderton has surgery to change his eyes he has brown eyes, but on the computer screen his eyes are blue. Also the eyes he uses to get access to the Pre-cog are blue.
• Continuity: In the Lexus factory when one of the agents chases Anderton behind a whole bunch of plastic barrels, the agent gets knocked out by Anderton causing his gun to slide across the floor and one of the plastic barrels to fall over on its side. In the next shot of the gun sliding across the floor, the plastic barrel lands in an upright position.
• Continuity: When Anderton is sitting in the greenhouse, you see some plants in his background, in the next scene the plants are gone.
• Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Lara drops Anderton’s eye-bag onto the organ keyboard, and we hear a note which does not match the keys it hit. This music is only an effect from the soundtrack, for our benefit. It is not the music heard by the characters.
• Incorrectly regarded as goofs: While Anderton is jogging through the street, an ad for pre-crime is playing, during which a future-victim states “he was going to rape me.” However, later when Witwer is asking the pre-crime crew questions they discuss how the pre-cogs cannot see rape because of “the nature of murder”. If the attacker were only going to rape her, the pre-cogs would not have predicted it, but if the attacker had planned to kill her after the rape, the rape would most likely have been seen as part of the pre-cogs’ vision.
• Continuity: When Dr. Eddie injects Anderton with the anesthetic Anderton bends Eddie’s arm behind him and lays him down on a table. Anderton then removes the needle from Eddie’s hand. We then cut to a closeup of Eddie saying “You wouldn’t break the hand of the violinist before the concert” and the needle is back in his hand.
• Revealing mistakes: When John is on top of his maglev car, it suddenly curves down the side of the building, forcing him to hang off it by his hands. Before it cuts to close-up, you can clearly see that his car is only about 5 or 6 seconds from reaching the bottom of the building and curving back to horizontal. But then he takes 45 seconds to climb and jump from car-to-car and eventually off the building – the side of the building just goes on forever as long as it needs to.
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Several times in the movie, Anderton is referred to as ‘Anderson’.
• Continuity: When Anderton kicks out the window of the car and climbs outside, he ends up standing on the same window he kicked out (which shouldn’t, of course, be there anymore).
• Continuity: When John Anderton and Agatha approach the door of room 1006 where Crow is supposed to be staying, the doorknob is on the left side of the door. In the next shot, when John Anderton knocks on and opens the door, the doorknob is on the right side.
• Continuity: When the police are sending the “spiders” for John after he has his eyes replaced, they discuss whether they should use “four spiders, on for each floor” and settling on 8 to be more time efficient. When they start zapping John there are multiple “spiders” present indicating that they are operating on the same floor. (The spiders may have been redirected to meet on the floor John was on after his body went cold.)
• Plot holes: Given that Anderton is a man on the run it would make sense to revoke his access rights to PreCrime. However in the movie he is able to access sensitive areas using his old eyes. His ex-wife does the same later in the movie to access the prison.
• Crew or equipment visible: When on the fire escape in the alleyway chase scene, Anderton releases the hover-pack

• Continuity: When Jonny got out of his car he threw his driving gloves onto the dashboard, but a little later he takes them out of his pocket and puts them on.
• Crew or equipment visible: When Ben is bent over a ghoul he just killed in the woods, you can see a hand waving the character away from the body and out of the scene.
• Continuity: Sheriff McClellan has large shells on his belt, which would not possibly fit in the rifle he is carrying.
• Continuity: The headlights of the truck, smashed in an earlier scene by a zombie, are intact during Ben, Judy, and Tom’s attempted escape.
• Continuity: When the first zombie gets to the house where Barbara is hiding, it’s still daylight. Moments later it appears to be the middle of the night.
• Revealing mistakes: The first time we see the dead body at the top of the stairs, the face has been eaten away. Later when the body is being dragged away, the rug conveniently covers the face but for a split second we are able to see the face and it is clearly normal.
• Continuity: The torch (table leg) jumps from the chair outside to the character’s hand and back again between shots when the chair is put outside.
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: Ben’s hammering is always out of sync.
• Continuity: While Karl and Ben are fighting for the rifle, the door to the main room, near the basement door, opens and shuts between cuts.
• Continuity: In the scenes before Tom tries to convince Judy to leave his left sleeve in cleanly torn, like someone has cut it cleanly away with scissors. In subsequent shots it turns to messily torn and then intact when he leaves for the trek to the gas pump.
• Continuity: As Ben informs Barbara that the house is secure and all windows have been sealed up, a plain, uncovered, unsecured window is visible right behind him.
• Crew or equipment visible: Light stand visible behind Barbara as she helps Ben board up the door soon after he arrives.
• Continuity: When Tom, Judy and Ben are going to the gas pump, there is one shot where it is clearly day (or at least dawn), even though the scene takes place in the middle of the night.
• Revealing mistakes: When Barbra runs the car into the tree, it is already dented before the impact.
• Revealing mistakes: When Barbara is told not to look at the defeated zombie that tried to attack her, his eyes are moving to look at her.
• Revealing mistakes: When Ben is nailing wooden boards to the door, small numbers can be seen on them. These were written on the backs of the boards so they could be removed and replaced in between shots, preserving continuity. Some numbers are visible because some of the boards were nailed on backwards.
• Continuity: Ben finds a pair of shoes and puts them on Barbara’s feet, but in the very next shot where she’s sitting on the couch, she is not wearing shoes nor are they any in the shot with her.
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Ben kills the first two zombies by the truck, there is an audio mismatch between his blows and the impact sounds.
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Ben is tell Barbara the story of about the zombies chasing the gas truck, his mouth does not match most of the words he is saying.
• Crew or equipment visible: When Ben is about to strike the first zombie you can plainly see someones hand takes the tire iron out of his hand.
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: In the end of the movie, when the ‘patrol’ shoots one of the zombies, you hear gunshots and you don’t see them shoot until after the sound.
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Harry and Tom first enter from the cellar, Tom yells “Don’t shoot! We’re from town!” We hear him say “We’re from town” but his lips never move.
• Crew or equipment visible: When Barbara rounds the corner of the farmhouse while searching for an entrance, someone is visible side-stepping away from the alley and crouching behind some bushes and posts of a shed.
• Crew or equipment visible: As soon Barbara walks into the farmhouse, there is a crew’s hand in the shot before the stuffed animals if you pause the right moment.
• Revealing mistakes: When Ben tackles the second zombie by the truck, he pins it to the ground right underneath him and starts beating it with a tire iron. You can see that to avoid actor injury, Ben is hammering the zombie at least 5 inches away from the zombie’s head.
• Crew or equipment visible: After Ben has struck one of the zombies outside the house to the ground, a cube of material, probably wood, is thrown next to the zombie’s head, which Ben hits with the tire iron.
• Continuity: When he first appears, the cemetery zombie’s coat is open and unbuttoned. During the fight with Johnny and in subsequent scenes, two of the buttons are fastened. Would a zombie button up his coat?
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Ben contradicts himself all through the story he tells Barbara about the gasoline truck. First he says he had just gotten into a truck he found to listen to the radio when this happened. But then he says that when the gas truck came by it was all he could do to miss it – inferring he was driving. He also says that it was “screaming by” and that zombies were chasing it on foot and keeping up – but all the zombies we’ve seen can be out run by even Barbara. He also says that the truck was on fire during this chase and there were zombies hanging onto the truck yet we’ve seen that the only thing that scares zombies is fire.
• Errors in geography: In the opening scene, Johnny tells Barbra that they have a “three-hour drive” ahead of them to return home to Pittsburgh. However, later in the film when the TV broadcast is listing local rescue stations, all of the town names given are located in the greater Pittsburgh area.
• Continuity: The live television remotes all seem to be taking place in daylight, although it’s supposed to be the middle of the night when they’re being aired.
• Crew or equipment visible: At the beginning when Barbara and Ben are approaching the correct grave site a figure in black jumps behind a large headstone behind them.
• Factual errors: Tom tells Ben that he and Judy were on their way to the lake to go swimming. The events are taking place in late April. It would be far too cold for swimming in Pennsylvania at that time of year.

• Miscellaneous: In the closing credits, the credit for Paint Foreman is misspelled as Paint Forman.
• Revealing mistakes: When Beast meets Leech, a close-up of Beast’s face as he remarks on Leech’s power reveals the net-like tape used to attach the blue fur to his face.
• Revealing mistakes: When Wolverine shows Jean Scott’s glasses when he is trying to control her, a close-up of his hand reveals a small cut on one of his fingers. In the X-Men universe, Wolverine has healing powers that prevent him from having any cuts on his body for any significant length of time.
• Miscellaneous: While Jean Grey was tearing off Wolverine’s skin, in the last and the biggest tear off, despite Wolverine has restored completely, when Jean Grey starts to tear off, the wounds previously occurred have healed in one frame, less than a millisecond.
• Continuity: Time of day during the final battle sequence. The first pan over the bridge from southeast looking north, is clearly midday as the shadow of the bridge is almost directly underneath it. When Magneto first walks onto the Golden Gate bridge it is close to sunset, and the shadowing is very inconsistent, sometimes sharp from direct sunlight, sometimes not. By the time they move the bridge and drops it onto the island, and lowers himself to the bridge, and all the mutants move forward, it is suddenly dark. In the DVD commentary, everyone acknowledges it, but says “Hopefully you’re into the movie enough… The whole battle is then shown as taking place in the dark.
• Revealing mistakes: When Wolverine leaves on the motorcycle from the school and goes to the woods looking for Jean, to Magneto’s hide-out, he is wearing a brown leather jacket. But, once in the woods, he senses something, the camera pans down as he extends his claws. Although the DVD Commentary from the Writers & Director mention it and jokingly say “He has a mutant power here, the ability to lose his jacket. He has a jacket here, if you look at his sleeve… and now, no jacket.” This is because right after that he is shown in nothing but the white wife-beater style t-shirt. But if you look at it in slow-motion, and see in subsequent shots, it is actually his watch. In some shots, his jacket hangs as low or lower than the sleeve and if he was wearing it, we would most likely have seen the front part of the jacket against his jeans in that shot.
• Continuity: In the woods at Magneto’s hide-out, Wolverine is attacked by the mutant Spike. When he kills Spike, he has two spikes in his stomach on either side of his belly button. The wounds heal, and you see the holes in the wife-beater style t-shirt he is wearing, but in the rest of these scenes, the holes are gone.
• Continuity: When Dr. Kavita Rao prepares The Cure injection for Angel, at first, the needle clearly doesn’t have the plastic protective cap on, then she takes it off in the next shot.
• Revealing mistakes: In the scenes of traffic on the Golden Gate Bridge, there are no yellow lane markers separating the northbound and southbound lanes. They are used to adjust the number of lanes in each direction, and they’re always present on the bridge.
• Revealing mistakes: On several occasions, the line where Mystique’s blue makeup ends around her mouth is easily visible.
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Scott rides to the lake, he is on a Harley-Davidson V-Rod, but the audio used for the engine noise is from a regular V-Twin Harley engine. The V-Rod’s engine sounds more like a car than a typical Harley.
• Continuity: When Professor Xavier and Magneto enter Jean Grey’s old house and find her sitting on a chair, items in the room are levitated around her. When the items drop, the bookcase over her right shoulder hits the ground and all the books fall off, the lamp on top remains on. In a later shot the books are back in the book case and the lamp is on the floor.
• Miscellaneous: The word “too” is misspelled as “to” in the caption “The not to distant future”. (Corrected on DVD version)
• Continuity: At the final battle, when the X-men are lined up, Wolverine is too far forward from the light pole to just swings back and cut (as he does) so it falls onto the attacking mutants. When the pole is falling down, the lights are still on, even though the power line should be cut through. Then as Wolverine is fighting off more mutants, the light pole can be seen right behind him still up.
• Revealing mistakes: When Magneto drops the bridge, Magneto then flies above the bridge to avoid the impact. The Impact is hard enough to crush several buildings on the island, but apparently none of the Brotherhood or the cars on the bridge seem to have been disturbed by falling 100 feet to the ground below.
• Miscellaneous: At the end scene with Jean and Wolverine, there is a shot of him from behind, and his beard makeup is hanging slightly loose from his cheek.
• Miscellaneous: Joel Einhorn’s name is spelled as Joel einhorn in the end credits of the movie.
• Revealing mistakes: In the scene where Bobby takes Kitty skating in the fountain he uses his power to create blades on the bottom of his regular shoes, however, at certain points real blades are clearly visible underneath the ice he created.
• Incorrectly regarded as goofs: When Juggernaut is inside of the building attempting to find Leech and destroy him, Kitty pulls him into the floor. Juggernaut’s power is that when he has momentum nothing can stand in his way, yet he later destroys the floor holding him just by moving his arms up, he could never have gained momentum because he couldn’t move his arms. However, Juggernaut’s legs could have been dangling THROUGH the floor. If he wiggled them, that would be all the momentum he would need to break free.
• Factual errors: When Magneto raises the Golden Gate Bridge the towers are shown shattering as if constructed of concrete. The unpainted piers are concrete but the painted towers are in fact steel.
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): At the scene where Rogue is standing in line to recieve the ‘cure’, she looks over to read the picket signs that a group of mutants are holding up at the side. One of the signs, instead of reading ’say NO to the cure’ clearly reads ’say to NO the cure’. At the top of the sign it says ‘Say to’ then ‘NO’ in large letters in the middle and ‘the cure’ at the bottom. Even reading it as “NO say to the cure” would be grammatically incorrect.
• Factual errors: The Golden Gate bridge is a suspension bridge, and its structural integrity is dependent on its principle suspension cables (in tension) being anchored on land on either side, and its towers (in compression) being solidly rooted on the bay floor. The anchors ensure the suspension cables are held in tension, without which the main span deck’s self weight and loading weight would cause a catastrophic structural failure – which singularly fails to happen when Magneto moves the bridge to the island, severing the suspension cables from their anchors and the towers from their foundations.
• Continuity: When Bobby takes Kitty skating on the pond, she has skates, and he creates ‘ice’ blades which are attached to his shoe by more ice. When their feet are then shown as they skate, his blades are shiny metal through the ice around the sole of his shoe.
• Continuity: Jean scratches her fingernails deep along Logan’s upper arm while on the medical bed. The scratches reveal his muscles are covered with a silvery substance that looks to resemble adamantium. The previous movies and the comics all state that only his bones are adamantium-covered.
• Plot holes: In the final confrontation between Magneto’s forces and the X-men, we see scores of angry mutants arrayed against a scant security force and only a handful of X-Men. Magneto has the ability to reduce the opposing “good” mutant numbers very easily yet doesn’t do so. As Magneto’s “pawns” are battling the defense force to get into the compound of the pharmaceutical company, Magneto himself stands on the remnants of the bridge watching the carnage. Though Magneto has the ability to control metal and manipulate magnetic fields, and Colossus, who in his mutant state is entirely metal, and Wolverine, who’s body is laced with Adamantium structurally reinforcing his entire skeleton, are well within his power to control, he doesn’t seize this opportunity to reduce the X-mens forces by a full third.
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Magneto locates and rescues Mystique from the armored truck, Pyro reads Multiple Man’s cell number as “41205.” The actual cell number is 41209.

• Revealing mistakes: During the scene in which Tokyo appears, there are several Japanese signs that just have random Japanese ideograms completely irrelevant to what should be there.
• Revealing mistakes: In the scene where they first show the corpses of clones from Project Alice you can clearly tell that a few of them are in actual fact mannequin dolls. Some of the corpses don’t have any facial similarities as the real Alice and one of them doesn’t even have any hair.
• Crew or equipment visible: When Alice walks through the dunes, just before the crow’s attack, the cameraman filming her is visible in her glasses.
• Continuity: SPOILER: When the first Alice clone awakens and attempts to leave the underground compound, flashbacks guide her in avoiding fatal danger. During the hospital hallway scene where she pushes a bed with wheels, a guillotine comes down the walls and slices the bed in half. The walls clearly show the gap where the guillotine comes out from but on the next frontal scene, the walls are bare.
• Revealing mistakes: SPOILER: In the scene where Carlos is in the big rig lighting up his joint, the camera pulls back and you can clearly see that one of the zombies reaching in for him only has makeup just past his wrist where you can then see normal human skin between that and the sleeve of his clothing.
• Continuity: SPOILER: In the scene where Dr. Isaacs as the tyrant has Alice in a choke hold, she clearly cuts off the ends of his fingers. Yet moments later, we see a shot of her and the floor, but his large fingers are not visible on the ground where they should be.
• Continuity: SPOILER: When the bus gets attacked by the crows Ashanti’s character Nurse Betty has blood and dirt on her face. But after she locks the back door and she shoots the crows she is clean and there is no blood or dirt on her, then in the next shot when she dies she is bloody again.
• Continuity: The opening scene in which Alice is naked in the shower shows her with no makeup. Yet, upon wearing the red dress she is wearing red lipstick. Then, in subsequent shots she is wearing no lipstick again.
• Errors in geography: After the characters arrive in Las Vegas, they park right next to the Paris Casino’s Eiffel Tower and the Venetian Casino. In reality, The Venetian is one mile up Las Vegas Blvd (The Strip).
• Revealing mistakes: In the scene where Alice reads Stevie’s name tag, with the help of a magnifying scope, a duplex reticle can be seen. However, right before she shoots him with the crossbow, it can clearly be seen that her crossbow is equipped with an open design type of red dot sights. These devices do not magnify at all and they have a red/amber luminous dot (hence the name) instead of the previously seen duplex reticle.
• Revealing mistakes: In the scenes where Alice and Carlos are standing around the trucks just before Carlos’ suicide run on the Umbrella installation, cars on a highway can be seen in the background. At least three or four going in opposite directions. Maybe another Caravan coming FROM Alaska!
• Continuity: While Carlos is crawling under the truck his pistol’s slide is forward, however when he tries to fire and we hear clicking, the slide is locked back indicating it is empty.
• Continuity: When the convoy is introduced the lead vehicle is a Hummer. Later a shot is shown of the tanker bursting through a sand dune, which could only happen if it was the lead. Another shot is shown immediately after with the Hummer as the lead again.
• Revealing mistakes: When Claire takes off in the helicopter she uses the cyclic stick and not the collective. Only the collective can be used to take off vertically.
• Continuity: When Alice is first seen with Carlos and K-Mart looking down at the Umbrella HQ’s aboveground “camp,” we’re looking alongside Carlos’s shoulder, and he’s immediately behind Alice and slightly to her right. Alice looks through the binoculars and speaks to K-Mart, when Carlos is suddenly sitting 20-30 feet away to the right, and a bit further front than the ladies.
• Revealing mistakes: In the scenes in the pit with Alice and the zombie dogs, there are numerous shots where the dogs can be seen to still have furry, non-zombified tails.
• Factual errors: Despite having driven through the sandy desert for many miles, Alice’s motorbike is repeatedly shown to be very clean and dust-free.
• Continuity: The zombies in the series have previously been shown to have considerably greater strength than a normal person yet the hundreds surrounding the Umbrella Corporation’s desert outpost are very effectively halted by a ten foot high chain-link fence.
• Factual errors: Despite the depth of LJ’s chest wound after his encounter with the zombies at the motel, he appears to be in no discomfort, nor is there anywhere near sufficient blood on his chest and t-shirt for that kind of wound.
• Factual errors: None of the Alices in the ditch show any signs of decomposition and all look to be very recently killed – their skin isn’t even paled from blood pooling in the lower tissues, something that occurs within hours of death.
• Revealing mistakes: When Oded Fehr’s character is saying goodbye to everyone at the end and Ali Larter’s character is looking at him, you can clearly see traffic moving on the road in the background.
• Incorrectly regarded as goofs: After Alice uses her powers to kill the crows, Dr. Isaacs uses 3 satellites to locate her – as evidenced by the display on his computer monitor. Three smaller circles, presumably satellites, centered around a larger circle, presumably the radius of her psionic ability – even though we only see one satellite in orbit. Even if the satellites are not sensitive to psionic bursts (though they should be, since the AI in the Umbrella facility claims to have detected them), Project Alice has several implants which allow Umbrella to track and control her.
• Incorrectly regarded as goofs: In the council chambers, Wesker’s glasses reflect the room around him. This isn’t a mistake – all council chambers are identical, and Wesker’s holographic cameras would pick up the reflection of his table – as well as the reflections of the other holograms in the room during a meeting.
• Continuity: During the Vegas scene, the laptop in the Umbrella tent is locked on to Alice, yet there’s a display box containing Africa in the lower left corner. There would be no logical reason for the Umbrella operatives to keep a look out on Africa when they’re busy with Nevada.
• Revealing mistakes: At the start of the final scene in Tokyo, there are rats in the street. As the camera descends through the street, one of the rats actually goes in front of the ground revealing that the street is actually a cut-away set.
• Revealing mistakes: When Dr. Isaacs is held in a “secure room” the keypad used to release the door is quite clearly that of a cheap digital safe (the sort one would buy for keeping a few household valuables) and no attempt has been made to conceal the circular handle of the safe, the rest of which has been built into the wall.
• Revealing mistakes: When the zombies are coming out of the large container, there are tons of them coming out of it but there’s no way they could have all fit into the container in the first place.
• Plot holes: Alice notes that instead of driving to Alaska, they will fly there. So when they breach the gates of the Umbrella compound, they all load up into the helicopter and take off. Claire is the pilot, however, it is never mentioned in the movie that she, nor anyone else, has experience flying. Flying a helicopter is not the same as driving a Hummer.
• Continuity: During the crow scene when the flamethrower is about to incinerate Carlos, the woman he is holding has her hand on his shoulder. When we cut to Alice in the next shot we can see the woman’s hand slide down off of Carlos’ shoulder and then reappear there in the next shot.
• Continuity: Towards the end when Alice enters the Umbrella HQ and releases a clone of herself from the water/orb, the clone then dies. She is shown laying on the ground with her left hand covering only her left breast, with her elbow resting on the floor. In the next shot, from above, her arm is covering both and her elbow is no longer resting on the ground.
• Continuity: In the beginning of the movie, the first Alice clone is in a laser chamber where the pattern of the lasers that charge after her are diamond, but then a shot later when she climbs through an air duct, the laser pattern is just a straight line.
• Continuity: The first Alice clone pushes a gurney through the hospital hallway where a blade wall slices the gurney in half, then two shots later, the blade trap is completely gone.

• Continuity: When Jillian goes to Washington Square Park by subway, it’s clearly night and dark. When she emerges from the subway, it is daylight.
• Factual errors: All NASA shuttle astronauts live and work in the vicinity of the Johnson Space Center in Houston, many of them in Clear Lake, a Houston suburb. Yet in the film, Jillian teaches school in Florida, where she and Armacost clearly live. Astronauts only go to Florida for launches.
• Factual errors: When the pregnant wife is being examined, she is told she is nine weeks pregnant. However, the baby shown on the ultrasound scan screen is clearly much more than nine weeks old. Further more the movements of the ultrasound probe do not correspond to the movements on the screen. And when the doctors says she will make measurements she never does. Instead she just waits a few seconds before announcing the age of the fetus.
• Incorrectly regarded as goofs: SPOILER: At the end of the movie, when Jill is talking to her new husband, he calls her Susan. This is due to the fact that she probably changed her name after Spencer’s death (she also seems to have changed her appearance).
• Crew or equipment visible: When Jillian has just watched the Sherman Reese videotape, and Spencer comes in and scares her, Spencer says they should watch a video and goes to put it in. After all of the fuss with what the tape is, Spencer gets up to sit on the couch and as he does, you can see four shadows on the wooden wall behind him.
• Continuity: When Spencer and Jillian are at the cocktail reception in New York, Jillian is speaking with the rude woman who criticizes her clothes. As they are walking, they walk past a woman with a large pearl necklace who then kisses the gentleman she is with. Moments later, Jillian who then walks past the same woman again.
• Continuity: When Spencer scares Jillian in the bathroom, she drops the abortion pills she was holding and they fall far away from each other. After Spencer slaps her, the pills are closer together.
• Continuity: When Jillian is dancing to the radio, she opens the refrigerator door and we clearly see a can of whipped cream. Jillian then takes a can of whipped cream from the bottom of the refrigerator and puts it in the same spot the other one was in. The first can just disappeared.
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Spenser Checks Jill’s pulse at the party’ he does it in the wrong place. Pulse is checked below the thumb, while he checks it under Jill’s little finger.

• Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Judge Dredd is undercover as a judge, a young judge runs up and pulls off Dredd’s helmet and says, “Dredd! I knew it was you,” but his lips are not moving.
• Continuity: Mean Machine’s dial returns to its original position after Pa Angel turns it.
• Continuity: When Judge Griffin gets his arms ripped off by the robot, they cut to a leg shot, yet the position of his legs to do not change even though he now has no arms for the robot to hold onto.
• Continuity: In the desert, when Dredd and Ferguson are on a hill looking at the garbage tunnel, Dredd walks away. In the next shot they are standing next to each other, as if Dredd never moved.
• Miscellaneous: When Judge Dredd First arrives at the scene, he tells the other judges he’s safe because he’s the lethal range of the fired round, yet before his arrival, we see at least one man being killed on the street.
• Continuity: All the Supreme Council Judges wear shoulder rank devices. Chief Justice Griffin’s (‘Jurgen Prochnow’) are on backwards most of the time. A notable scene is in which the Janus files are unlocked; his shoulder devices flip flop depending on the angle.
• Revealing mistakes: Before the enter the exhaust hole, the fire is being blown outwards.. When Dredd and Ferguson run in the exhaust pipe, the flame is chasing them rather than moving towards them.
• Continuity: When Dredd and Fergie are escaping from security after Rico and Griffin murder the high council, Dredd is wearing full Judge uniform. When he enters the room with the hoverbike, he is wearing the shirt. When he sits on the bike, he has lost the shirt and is wearing only a t-shirt. This happens in timespan of him sitting on the bike, he did not have time to remove it.
• Plot holes: Upon stepping down, Chief Justice Fargo asks that they be lenient with Dredd in lieu of his years of service, but Justice Griffin proceeds to give Dredd life imprisonment in Aspen; later when, now Chief, Justice Griffin is talking to Rico he explains that he could have used Dredd when it would appear that it was he who banished Dredd to life imprisonment.

• Errors in geography: The Noelite Convent appears for the first time with the location 4110′N and 7446′E, identified as Mongolia. According to Google Earth, that location is a mountain in Kyrgyzstan, more than 1000 km from the Mongolian border.
• Continuity: When Toorop picks up the girls at the Noelite convent, he stands next to the car door as they get in. In the next shot, as he gets in himself, no one is in the back.
• Continuity: After destroying the last two Range Rovers at the end, Toorop’s left ankle is clearly visible. His leg must have grown back in the time it took to drive to find Aurora as it was a metal prosthesis in Darquandier’s lab.
• Miscellaneous: The credits misspell the first song in the soundtrack as “Dueuces” (instead of “Deuces”).
• Revealing mistakes: Toorop drives through the border town, and the kids start throwing rocks. Once all the kids stop, you can clearly see one of the ‘rocks’ bounce a few times, because the rocks are rubber.
• Errors in geography: When Toorop is checking his interactive map after picking up Aurora at the convent, it shows the Bering Strait separating Russian and Canadian territory. It should separate Russian and American territory. If Toorop could have gone directly from Russia to America, he wouldn’t need an implantable passport. It’s possible, in this future, that Alaska is part of Canada, but no one mentions that.
• Revealing mistakes: When the fight is about to begin there are 4 screens displaying the countdown and the words “Ready, Fight” in English, Japanese, Russian and Arabic. However, the Arabic words appear to be translated using some free online translation services because the words seem out of syntax, incomplete, and the letters are not joined together, which is wrong since Arabic is a script.
• Continuity: Immediately after Toorop fires his gun into the air in the crowd of vehicle traffic when he, Sister Rebeka and Aurora are leaning against the car the phone earpiece is in Toorop’s right ear. In the next shot where Toorpo looks to the subway the phone earpiece is gone.
• Continuity: The location of the monastery is initially given as Mongolia but later, in the news report in the apartment in New York, it is said to be Kyrgyzstan, which would match with the coordinates given early on in the movie. Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan are separated by a 600 mile wide section of China.
• Revealing mistakes: Despite Toorop’s ranch house having been abandoned for years, with trees fallen on top of it and so on, the timbers are all very clean and dry when they should be covered in lichen and mosses and in fairly advanced stages of decomposition.
• Errors in geography: 50′N, 128′W may be 10 miles from the Canada / US border but it is not Kitimat as stated, because it would be in the ocean and it is actually at 54′N, 128′W.
• Continuity: When Toorop is being picked up by Gorsky’s men in the beginning, he grabs his backpack. In one shot he carries it in his hand, next shot – it’s on his back, then back in his hand and when he walks into the hallway it’s back on his back.
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Toorop picks-up the two at the monastery, she says, “pick-up our bags”, when there is, clearly, only one bag.
• Errors in geography: While it was correctly noted that Troitsk was at 5406′N and 6134′E on the screen, the camera that tracked the trio in the marketplace showed the coordinates of 5432′N and 1818′E, which is farmland northwest of Gdansk in Poland.
• Continuity: In the street battle scene, Toorop is holding a rifle in the right handed position, however, when he relives his memory later on the rifle is shown in the left handed position
